Knee injuries : Runner's knee causes pain and tenderness by the kneecap or around the sides of the knee. Imbalances of the feet and misalignments of the hip and spine often cause it. Our team will make adjustments to properly align the affected area with easing the stress on joints, decreasing inflammation to help with healing.
Sprains and strains : Sprains and strains happen when a tendon, ligament, or muscle is torn. Often massage is used to increase proper blood flow to help reduce inflammation. Additionally, to treat sprains and strains, a combination of ultrasound, laser therapy, hot/cold compresses, electrotherapy, and a slow increase of exercises to strengthen the affected area is utilized.
Shoulder Injuries: The shoulder joint is supported by surrounding tendons, muscles, and ligaments that are susceptible to injury. Forward and backward movement in the shoulder is possible because of its versatility in various motions. This continuous movement of arms in any direction can cause too much friction, subjecting your shoulder joint to pain.
